Frequently asked questions

How quickly will you respond?
We aim to respond to all messages within 1–2 business days. Bug reports and calculation errors are prioritised — we try to acknowledge and fix verified errors within 24 hours.
I found a wrong tax rate / outdated rule — what should I include in my message?
The more specific the better. Please include: (1) The calculator name, (2) The specific input values you used, (3) The result you got, (4) The result you expected and ideally a reference source (CBDT circular, CBIC notification, official government link). This helps us verify and fix it quickly.
Can I suggest a calculator that doesn't exist yet?
Yes — we love suggestions. Describe what you'd want to calculate, what inputs it should take, and what output you'd expect. If it's relevant to Indian personal finance or business, there's a good chance we'll build it. Past suggestions that became tools include the Flat vs Reducing Rate calculator, the DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) calculator, and the Crypto Tax calculator.
Do you offer a paid API for the calculators?
Not currently. All calculators run in the browser using JavaScript — there's no server-side calculation API. If you're a developer interested in embedding our calculators or building something with the formulas, feel free to reach out and we can discuss what makes sense.
I'm a financial blogger / YouTuber — can we collaborate?
Possibly. We're open to content collaborations that genuinely benefit our users — guest articles, tool mentions in educational content, or joint projects that make financial calculation more accessible. Reach out with specifics about your platform and what you have in mind.
