Your data stays
in your browser
We built MoneyCalculator.co.in so it never needs to know your financial details. Every number you enter is processed locally — nothing leaves your device.

Overview
MoneyCalculator.co.in provides free financial calculators for Indian users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (and what we don't), how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
The short version: every financial figure you enter into any calculator on this site — loan amounts, income, investment values, tax inputs — is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. None of it is sent to our servers, stored in a database, or logged in any way. We have no record of what numbers you've entered.
This policy applies to all pages and tools available at MoneyCalculator.co.in. By using MoneyCalculator.co.in, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect a minimal amount of non-personal, aggregated information to understand how the site is used and to improve our tools. This includes:
Which calculator pages are visited and how often, so we know which tools to prioritise for improvement. This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify individual users.
General device category (mobile vs. desktop), operating system, and browser family — used to ensure calculators render correctly across devices. No device fingerprinting.
The page that linked you to MoneyCalculator.co.in, so we understand traffic sources. We don't use this to build user profiles.
Approximate geographic region (country level, derived from IP address) used to understand our audience. Your IP address itself is not stored.
We collect this information through standard web analytics tools. It is never combined with your financial inputs or linked to any personally identifiable information.
Your financial inputs
This is the most important section of this policy.
Every value you type into a MoneyCalculator.co.in calculator — EMI amounts, salary, loan tenure, investment sums, tax regime, GST amounts — is processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. These values are never transmitted to our web servers. They are never logged. They are never stored in any database.
When you close your browser tab, the data is gone. We have no way of retrieving it, because we never had it.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser's Developer Tools (F12 → Network tab) while using any calculator. You will see zero outbound requests carrying your financial inputs. All computation happens in the JavaScript bundle loaded onto your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add new tools, change analytics providers, or if regulations require updates. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
We will not make changes that weaken your privacy protections without providing prominent notice on the site. We will never introduce personal data collection without explicit notification.
